From the moundComing out of the forest and into the valley is spectacular, kind of cold but it is definitely easier to breathe! I love this part of the trip, the entire time from the mound until you drop back into the forest, it is so beautiful!

Yummy feet, first dayI hiked the whole thing in my chacos so they managed to get really dirty. It was so awesome and I still managed to get a chaco tan, even through all the mud and dirt! Muahahahha!!!

TripletsOn the first day we all wore the same shirt (because we all packed it for some reason) and everyone called us the triplets. Hope beachAbout two minutes from the camp ground was the beach... way frickin cool. We almost got stuck on the other side of the beach past all the rocks so we had to use our climbing skills to beat the tide back... I don't know if any of that made sense. Eh, I don't care...
