the finger gives us the fingerin september josh and i did the finger of fate, car to car blitz style. near the top of the route, our light disappearing rapidly, i begin to contemplate three rapps and five miles in the dark.
mother nature and the finger took this opportunity to remind me who's bigger, and who's not quite the cheeky little rad guy he thought he was. hey thanks mother nature!

joshyjoshua finally gets his filthy mitts on the lead he's been waiting for the whole trip. full disclosure: this was not originally b&w, and i played around with the shadows in picasa. also, i don't 'technically' have a license to practice law in utah. if you're ok with it, i'm ok with it.

frictionKevin Caudil grunting up the finishing moves of The Red Rib, at Castle Rock Ranch. With the newly aquired access to this great area, this route got some supplemental bolts. Very well protected, superb friction sport route, sure to become a classic.

Checking Out The IceKevin Caudil checking out the ice on Borah's N. Face route about six pitches up. We climbed easy fourth and fifth class rock to this point where we finally found ice. After setting a belay, Kevin downclimbed / traversed out onto the ice, and then back in after finding that the ice was thin and rotten. Looking back, we should have failed up, but we didn't, we bailed immediately after this shot was taken and proceeded to embark on a five hour death march back to the rigs. Photo by Sean Rasmussen
