Isaac hooking his way up the remarkably awesome, fantastic, excellent, supurb, exceptional climb that is - Heartbreak Hotel.

The loaf is an awesome feature, a big block sticking out in the middle of a slab. The climb is V1 I think, but is more fun if you mantle the loaf instead of using the arete.

After seeing a picture of me on a 30 ft. highball, my dad sat me down and had a serious discussion with me about safety before I ventured out for my next weekend climbing trip. On monday, this is what he recieved in his inbox at work...

Isaac on a short V1 next to a really cool tree. The tree is actually like three trees that have grown together.

Unknown climber on Permanent Waves (.13c). That's one big boulder.

San Juan Island is an awesome place, but lacks one huge thing: climbable rock. Nevertheless, I managed to find a few spots here and there where the rock didn't crumble in your hand.

Isaac on a fun V4 at Mad Meadows. Messed with this one a bit, so it looks... different.

Royal Flush (V2) is about the most classic problem in Leavenworth. You don't find awesome roof cracks like this that often.

Rod on a very fun and short V0 at the Beach. The guidebook says "If it's not a jug, you probably haven't found the best one."

A fun little V1 at the Beach boulders. It gets mossy near the top, but it's clean where it needs to be.

This is me on a 30ft slab highball, with my worried mother watching from below. Mothers don't like it when you do things like this around them, I don't recommend it to all you kids out there.

When we were messing around on this problem near the Bolt Rock area, a lone spot of sun shone through right on the central hold of the problem.

After missing the throw, Rod somehow manages to faceplant on the Fin (V2) at the Beach Boulders. No photoshopping on this one, the blur is natural.

Isaac on Battle of the Bulge (5.11a). Somehow his foot managed to blow off a hold and take a good-sized swing, almost sending him down, but he managed to stay on.

This is Isaac on his first time trying Battle of the Bulge (5.11a) at Fossil Rock. One of the best climbs there.

We stopped on the false summit to watch the sunrise. Not sure who in our group took this or who it is (maybe me, I don't know).

Isaac on Shin Smasher, 5.9, in his middle school wrestling singlet. Gotta have a style I guess... This was taken at a wierd angle, he's actually goin over a small roof. You can tell the angle by looking at the background and by how his draws are hanging.

This is my tiny little crag dog, Jak-Jak. He looks so ferocious in this picture. At the moment, he is leashed to a half-full gallon jug of water.

I'm not sure what climb this is, but it's at the Feathers. The darkness wasn't actually on purpose, just the product of a shabby camera.

This is me leading a route at Exit 38 on Deception wall. My 3rd lead ever I think.
