Buffalo Wallbuffalo wall is a sacred place of sorts due to it remote location in the canyon. You gotta really want to get there to see it and the likely hood of seeing another person is slim

Aiden competes in RRR07 pancake eating compMy Son Aiden decides to try to take down the big guys and eat more pancakes than 8 other competitors. Yeah he didn't do it, but he ended up being the youngest competitor at the table. Finished off 5 cakes. Not bad for a 9 year old.

Sun set & snow over calico basinShot this picture while out with my family checking out how much snow Red Rocks got today. Got up to the high vista and looked back over to calico and was in awe.
Used my Olympus POS D-535 3.2 mega pixel to shoot this. Once in a while I get lucky and take a decent photo with it.

Plumbers CrackOne of the classic boulders in a field of lots of boulder problems.
This is one hell of an offwidth & chimney problems. Try the offwidth traverse. Also on the south side the layback problem is pretty nice.

The Owl - Willow Springs areaI couldn't remember the name of this tower. Had to go and look it up in Roxanna's guide book - The Owl.
Has two known routes on it. the first "the Owl" rated 5.8.
The second unknown name but rated 5.10d. Both of which are rated two stars. Still worth checking out when in the area.

one of many boulders in MeccaThis is one pf my favorite boulders to pull on, as it includes a couple of off width moves. I personally love the north face with lots of small crimps and side pulls with feet smears. route is about 24' tall with a poor landing, but killa fun

Side EffectsThis is such a stiking formation, with a very nasty reputation. I want to jump on this however have been told that the upper holds are dirty or have broken off. Thus your last move is a dyno off small crimps.
Well enough about beta, as I haven't been able to actually pull on the route and its all here say until the deed is done.

Peaches in evening route called Peaches, on an amazingly cool (85 degree) evening. What A GREAT ROUTE on a awesome evening in the middle of summer.
Can't get much better on a one pitch wonder.
Unfortunately all I had was my camera phone and I knew the light wasn't going to help me out as the cliff faces east and I was out climbing in the early evening.

rogers & electra peaksI am interested in climbing these walls as they have beautiful striations and exposure that really peak my interest.
Besides they are high up in elevation being that they are near to the tallest peak in yosemite.

Wintress & BrightonMy wife insisted on bring her fog dog (shitsu) out to the crag. The funny thing was that she'd just given him a bath and by the time we were tired of bouldering, his fur was no longer white but stained shades of red.
Hey I have to admit he loved being out with the family.
He's still a fog dog though

Lj working a face climbLj is one of the neighborhood kids that my kids play with and has lived in Las Vegas for 5 years and had never been to Red Rocks. He had never been climbing either, and he loved it as well as did his sister. We were begged to bring them along again when we go out again.
