Concentration? Pain? Gas?You be the judge :) This is me, getting to the top (read: hard part) of Night Owl (5.6). This is a really fun route, along with the one right next to it, Bunk Arete (5.6). It starts off easy, then about 15' from the top goes just about vertical and gets a lot thinner. Photo by Taino.

Does this helmet make me look fat? Here's me, sitting on top of Lou's Wall. I think we were just breaking for lunch on an absolutely gorgeous July day.

Too sexy for this routeHere's me again, posing for the cover of Climbing magazine :) This is on Jumbled Arete (5.3), the first route I've climbed at Peter's Kill. A fun little climb - the stem over to the roof is cool.

Gotta be the shoesMy wife, Liz, on Jumbled Arete (5.3) showing off her shoes. She made it to the top of this one, in bold defiance of gravity and her fear of heights.

How did I get talked into this? Here's my wife, ever the good sport, saying a prayer on Havana Club (5.5). You'll get over that fear of falling yet, Liz! Photo by Taino.

PeekabooMe poking my head out of the crack of Havana Club (5.5). A really fun climb with some interesting moves. I believe it's carniverous, though, because it tried to eat my arm.

A flailing we will goHere's me during my failed attempt at Golden Dream (5.9+). I made it about halfway and pumped out. Got to take the hike o' shame back to the top.

YABS (Yet Another Butt Shot)Yes, it's my butt. However, my wife thought the composition and angle of the rock was very cool, and I have to agree with her.

Concentration...I love the look of concentration on my brother in law's face here. He's just trying to get the danglies out of his way, but he looks so determined! This was on the trail heading out for our first guided tour of the Trapps.

Climbing in the shadowsThe second picture of my brother in law bouldering at NYRG. Photo taken by my wife, Liz. I'm aware that the focus is a bit soft; a product of no flash + no tripod. I really liked the long shadows cast by a nearby spotlight, and this is the version where I cropped the climber out of the frame. I think I like this one better.

What your lungs see...This is what happens when you use the flash in a busy gym. My young brother in law and I were playing around on the center boulder, and my wife snapped this picture with her digital camera.
