Speechless Sunrise

Average Rating = 3.81/5 Speechless Sunrise

I woke up at 4:30 am to work Ride the Rockies, but it was cancelled due to snow (in June) so I stayed up to watch the sunrise. The colors were unbelieveable. Part of Estes Park is on the bottom with a mountain that looks as if it's on fire above it.

We hiked to the top of Lily Mountain to watch the sunset after a hard days work at the Trail Ridge Store and WOW, it was worth it! June 2004.

Locking off to hit the sloper/pinch on The Wasp at HP40. What a great fall break and such a cool problem. Taken by Matthew on 10-13-03.

My Favorite Problem

Average Rating = 3.00/5 My Favorite Problem

This is my favorite problem at LRC (Brian's Brain), probably because it was my first. Sure my hair looks poofy, but the lighting is cool and it just captures something for me. Thanks to Micah for capturing this moment on 10-11-03.

Pam rocks 'Rocking Chair'

Average Rating = 3.75/5 Pam rocks 'Rocking Chair'

This was the first time when route climbing that I freed my mind and forgot about my fear of heights. This route was a great climb for me even if most people use it as a warm up. I am really proud of myself for completing this route since my fears usually cripple me. Improvement is a great feeling! Pic taken by Matthew 07-21-03.

Pam on The Scoop

Average Rating = 3.70/5 Pam on The Scoop

A classic at Rocktown that I finally struggled up after a day of working on it. Picture was taken on May 31, 2003 by Matthew. And it seems that my new XRays glow!

Homemade Crash Pad

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Homemade Crash Pad

A collage of pictures of my homemade crash pad. It's 4 ft. x 4 ft. x 4 in. layed out. It took me a couple of long work days to hand sew it with fishing line, but I think it was worth it, and it costed less than buying one. There is a 3 in. open cell foam piece sandwiched between .5 in. closed cell foam pieces. The straps are 2 inches wide and it's got 2 closure straps. The top is a velvety tye dye ex-curtain. If you have any questions about how I made it PM me.
