Main wall

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Main wall

Green Dragon Gorge is beautiful and nearly untouched by climbers. The funniest thing about climbing in this area is that there is room for litterally hundreds of routes but the park does not bolt anything on the rock, insdead they set up a man made rock wall about 40 meters high right next to some of the best unpolished granite in the world! Go figure

slappin' to a sloper

Average Rating = 2.00/5 slappin' to a sloper

This is me slapping up to a sloper on this unpolished granite 8 meter boulder. The problem is my first attempt at gaining an FFA and setting an outdoor boulder problem--climbing (especially bouldering) is slowly gaining popularity in China and then mostly in the south. The problem is a V1 or V2 and follows an obvious line to top out the boulder. My friend Joe took the photo...thanx man!

Bouldering on the Yellow Sea

Average Rating = 2.00/5 Bouldering on the Yellow Sea

My friend Joe works a line on this boulder at a beach called the Dove's Nest Buildings (the Chinese name is better). This area had nearly no people at all as it was the end of the day at the end of summer. It was just me, Joe and the local fishermen...it was a really nice climb. The line Joe is working is maybe a V2 or V3-sit start to a left crimp and right to a small pocket. Backstep right and up to a side-pull then dyno to top the boulder out. The problem was not nearly as nice as the scenary! But cool all the same. The boulder is unpolished granite and cut our fingers up pretty bad.
