Night BoulderingWinston, Laura and I went bouldering on 9/11/04 at the Service Boulder around.. 9:45 pm. We brought headlamps and the crashpad. Made for an interesting time. You couldn't see the feet at all so you just had to smear like crazy. Those were some good times though. Thanks to Laura for the picture.

First Trad LeadThis is me on my first trad lead. I got about 6 feet off the deck and it started to rain. Just my luck.. But I finished the route in spite of the fact that both the rock and I were soaked. Thanks to John (coldclimb) for taking the pictures and for lending me some of his gear to do the climb. :)

James (skinnyjim) on Pivot Point 5.10aPicture of me on Pivot Point (5.10a), a route in the Pivot Point area just off of the Seward Highway. The route is an interesting and somewhat greasy climb with a bouldering start. There is a possible grounder between the second and 3rd bolts, but there is a nice crack in the chimney to make a placement. All in all a good climb.
