Little Eiger, 5.12

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Little Eiger, 5.12

This is a shot of Little Eiger, the 5.12 test piece at Inidan Joe Caves. While I will probably never send this thing, while I was there I watched a guy rope up and send it after trying for the past 3 years. Simply stunning....

Bat Crack on Lead

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Bat Crack on Lead

This is strider finishing the SHORT 5.5 Bat Crack. As you can see it only takes 2 pieces before you get to the top, but it's a fun little outing none the less. The rock is solid and it is an easy climb with a nice view at the top.

Crossover from one side of Cleavage to the other

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Crossover from one side of Cleavage to the other

This is a photo of strider cossing over from one side of The Cleavage to the other. When you start The Cleavage, you lower into a crack about 20'. Then you climb up to your belayer, then past your belayer and continue until you reach the top of the pinnacle. Then you can lower off or you can cross over to the other side of the Cleavage and do a little friction face and then a mantle to stand on top. fun fun fun

Face route, Indian Joe caves, west facing formation

Average Rating = 3.00/5 Face route, Indian Joe caves, west facing formation

This is me (strider) finishing a short lead up the face route at Indian Joe Caves. The rock is Meta-basalt and very sharp in some places but the cracks take great protection, even if the climbs are only 20-30 feet. Kinda greasy in some places though so watch out! Photo courtesy of Marv the Martian.
