Mt. Baldy from Blackhorse

Average Rating = 3.40/5 Mt. Baldy from Blackhorse

This is from my Philmont Trek in 1999. Mt. Baldy is 12,441'. This happens to be my highest point ever! We had summited two days prior to this. I took this while we were resting in this beautiful meadow and had found that neat foreground. Taken with a disposable Kodak Advantix camera. Decent pic given the camera and the harsh noon light.

Clipping 2nd Bolt on Footloose

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Clipping 2nd Bolt on Footloose

Thats me leading Footloose and Finger Free (5.9) at Logtown. Its a shorter 4 bolt w/ shuts climb. Its a pretty easy climb, I think I flashed it. Good way to learn on a little harder moderate route.

Swinging out on

Average Rating = 2.50/5 Swinging out on "Pancake"

A fun little problem at the Mills, "Pancake". Requires quite a reach, but not too hard; even I can do it!

Winter ascent of Mt. Marcy - at Treeline

Average Rating = 3.00/5 Winter ascent of Mt. Marcy - at Treeline

In Feb of 2003 I summited Mt. Marcy (New York's highest pt.) in a full blown Nor'easter. Whiteout conditions and high winds along with tons of snow made this a true alpine experience - lots of fun!! Thats me gettin' hammered by the wind and snow at treeline somewhere on that hill!
