Description:

This climb is an area classic, if you only climb one 5.9 while at Index, this should be the one! For many climbers this three pitch jewel is they're first "real" climb after graduating from the slabs. Starts on the ledge, most come in from the right, if the blackberries were chopped down access from the left might be safer. Lots of liebacking, and some minor routefinding challenges.

3 out of 5 stars third pitch????????

first and second pitch are fun...... third is offwidth. my partner was on lead, had my #3 C4 in his mouth, his feet slipped and yelled falling.... thus sending my #3 200ft to its death.... oh well, I got a new one!!!! Go to heart of the country instead

The slab traverse is scary when wet. The second pitch is money
