Description:

About 100 yards east (toward Seward) of the pullout for the Sunshine Ridge area is a huge left facing corner. To the right of this left facing are two obvious bolted routes (Road Soda on the left and Road Warrior on the right). Between the two bolted routes is a crack/corner system. This crack/corner system is Draino. Use this route as a start to Sunshine Ridge or head right at the top of the first pitch to the Road Warrior anchor and rappel/lower with one rope.

Descent Options:

Walk off if you do Sunshine Ridge or rappel/lower with one rope if you just go up as far as the Road Warrior anchor.

It was pretty dirty. I climbed over some big loose blocks and flakes so I'm thinking I wasn't quite on route. I know I was in the ballpark though.
Easy and semi-fun.

On most trips up to Anchorage, we venture out to the Seward Highway for some outdoor climbing. Great spot

a fun trad lead, one absolutely useless piton halfway up that someone had pounded in so deeply it was impossible to clip into. I passed a fifi-hook through the eye and kept going :-) bad rock
