Because that start is hard. Harder than 12b, IMO. The rest of the route is solid though, and a super fun route too. Sent second try today, plus one try years ago.

Stranglehold
Enjoyed this route - bouldery start, then need to pace yourself for the finish. This route was challenging for me due to the sustained difficult moves. Different beta for short and tall people - likely different difficulties. Bottom section, first 5-7 moves or so, feel hard, harder than 12b.
