Description:
Great to take beginners on, although that hanging belay may sketch 'em out! 2 "mini-pitches." From "Squeezing the Lemmon II": "Start in chimney formed by large flake and climb to stance with bolt. Move right 15 ft. then up to two bolt belay. Continue climbing on chickenheads to top. The last (two) can be combined with lots of runners." Rap off. (edit)... It is possible to do this route as one long pitch with a 60 meter rope. 15' rap off tree on backside or walk off at the same location.

Ascent Note
Climbed this route several times to give friends a simple 2 pitch experience. Definitely 5.fun. 2nd pitch is almost trivial, probably 5.2, but good for a confident leader to practice running it out! The belay up top is creative, both trees are now loose, so DON'T use them for a belay. Get creative with the rock, you'll find something.

Ascent Note
My first real outdoors adventure! Yes I did hang-dog that 5.4, yes I did whimper on the hanging belay, yes I did slide down the chimney, yes I did whimper again on the rappel. Yes, I did drive my partner batty!
