Description:

THIS IS THE FARTHEST LEFT POINT OF THE UTAH WALL..EVERYTHING ELSE IS TO THE RIGHT....Obvious crack line. At about 40 ft up it bows and turns into a nice little pocket [There's a red and a blue runner in the pocket]. If you continue past the pocket about 25 feet there's a Belay/Rap station[2 chained bolts]. The chains can be seen from the bottom of the climb.

4 out of 5 stars first multipitch trad

first pitch is great, super for beginning leaders, the chains that can be seen on the right are not the chains you need to go to! just keep going straight up and there's a belay station just over a little ledge. as mentioned there's a second pitch which is ok, you might as well do it, there's some runners and screwgate biners which you can rappel off of which we did since we didn't bring our shoes up! The scramble down probably wouldn't be too bad with shoes.

4 out of 5 stars huh?

If you feel like it you could even do the second pitch (5.6) all the way to the top, I've never met anyone else that has done that but sure I'm not the first. The rock is a bit dirty on the second pitch. Go all the way to the top and not the obvious shortcut looking part off to the right. Get to the top and walk a bit to the west and you'll have a very nice view.

Who in Ogden hasn't climbed this route. Usually the first one I take newbies on. Love that view!
