Description:
Broomstick Crack begins on Broadway Ledge approx. 10 metres to the right of where Deidre tops out. Walk to where the wall begins to taper down, reach up and grab a stonker flake. Follow this flake up and left for about 40 metres. Climb as one or two pitches.

Heady
Felt like 5.7, maybe becoz I used my hands for the flake instead of just my feet. If you have walked on it then it should be easy. I'm surprised by the G safety rating. Though easy, one tip off balance you'll end up on the ledge, unless you have multiple very big cams.

Lame.
This route was simply a means to an end for me. I didn't really have any interest in doing Granville Island after reading the reviews, so we did this instead. Pulled up and walked up in like a sidewalk. Lame.... I've walked sidewalks that were harder than this

Flake fun!
We used this route to link Diedre to the hanging forest on our way to Squamish Buttress.
It's good fun. First move off the Broadway Ledge is the crux. Then it is a fine balancy cruise to the top.
We climbed it in one very long pitch and used a rope tug system to communicate. Drag was present but minimal.
I'd call it more of a 5.7 than a 5.4.
