Description:

Approach via the Deertrap Mt. trail (from above is faster, - 2 1/2 hours) Begin at a big pine tree at the left side of the South Face. Look for a bolt about 40' up. The route diagonals right from here along a unique series of ledges & ribs for 7 bolt protected slab pitches to the top. Only aid is pulling on a bolt at a bulge. Climbing is clean and enjoyable...mostly 5.4 This route does have long runnouts and the rock is very soft. The bolts may be loose and will need to be checked. Descent: Rap route.
