4 out of 5 stars Last pitch: "Dean's 'Where the F*** Do We Go?" Variation

Started off taking the wrong way up to the start. Not exactly a full 'book'...more of a diag chimney. Run out. Seems more of a 5.7. Lots of friction and lieback instead of stemming as one might expect climbing a book. On the last pitch there were two teams crossing routs. One person said go left, one said straight, the other said go right. My leader made up his own last pitch zigging to the left with a spicy traverse on a thin face then zagging up to a hollow sounding flake then over a good size bulge. Probably more of a 5.7 pitch. Walk off was scary!

5 out of 5 stars Best 5.6 ever

This is the best 5.6 I have ever done. It might be friction the whole way, but the wide crack/chimney makes you feel at safe and secure. Pro is essentially useless on this climb (due to the 120' of RO) unless you have a number 5 or some other big cams.

I would highly recommend this route to any 5.8 leader who has a good head.
