This route needs more love. It is a lot of fun and it has the friendliest mono. The arete was out of sequence for me but it is a little contrived to say it's not 'on' for the sake of the grade. But, it is worth leaving out for the fun.

Better than the guide suggests!
I thought this route climbed much better than the guide suggested. Varied, continuous climbing leads from the rest ledge to the chains. There is a nice right hand mono on a very finger friendly pocket and a few big pulls off crimps, pockets, and jugs. Stays in the shade a bit longer than most of the other Dihedrals routes, making for a good early morning choice. Also, not using the arete (which lowers the grade), is easy to sequence and didn't feel overly contrived to me.
