Description:

Long approach includes 2000 gain from valley floor to the tower. Watch for snakes. Start in stunning right facing dihedral (.7 hand crack) then moderate crack and face climbing for 3 pitches. 5th is crux, .9/.10a face to strenuous left facing crack/slot. Easy pitch to summit. Descend gully between two towers. Mostly downclimbing.

We camped just south of the ravine south of the Smokestack, on the valley floor to shorten the approach. Don't know if the bolts have been replaced.
