Description:

23 pitch sport climb. Need 2 60m, 70m better, and large quantities of webbing or runners is a plus. If you can avoid being there when the rock crushing is going on in the vicinity, durring the weekdays, the peace and quite is inspiring.

4 out of 5 stars Fun

This route has a lot of rock fall. Never in my life have I heard the world rock screamed so many times in one day. Have your game on for the runouts, they are easy but the rock is chossy and loose, slip and you are going to meet your maker. Some people bring gear, I wouldent bother, the runout sections are on chossy slab, there are not many cracks for pro. You cannot do the route with a single 70m or 80m, you need at least two 60's. Half ropes are the way to go, you get lots of drag. I had a 9.2mm single and at the end of some of the pitches I could have sworn I was leading on a steel cable, even with long runners. For those wondering, this is not a sport route, there are entire 150' pitches that have no bolts on them.

4 out of 5 stars Long route, long day

We got rained off at pitch 17 so werent able to finish it, but it was a huge climb. I would reccomend staying overnight at the base or even better at the top of the 6th pitch, which has a great bivy ledge. half ropes are definitely the way to go, carrying a second rope in your pack plus food and water sucked. bring lots of water, and balls of steel for those 50ft+ runouts.

Upper pitches were the most fun. Glad I did it for the novelty, but probly won't do it again.
