Description:

The Spy is a rock and a route. It's the narrow fin on the north side of the First that proudly catches the last light of the day. Start toward the north end of the First Flatironette. Climb for a pitch or two until the Spy seperates from the Flatironette and make some steeper moves to gain its narrow spine. The ridge eventually tapers to about 10' and offers up big air to either side. Pass the steepest bulge (crux) on the left or right on small holds and belay shortly after. Continue for one more pitch to the top. From the summit, either jump about 6' to the west or do an awkward, overhanging downclimb. Excellent after work romp.
