Description:

Exposed and exciting. P1: Head up and traverse left at an unlikley looking ledge. Continue to a small ledge with a small cedar and a bolt (remember, no slinging trees, there's a reason that bolt is there). P2: Head up and slightly left until it looks too hard to continue upwards. Traverse left to a ledge with a bolt then head up to a massive ledge under an overhang. P3: traverse right from the belay. Continue right, clipping fixed gear ~8m. When there is no where else to go start heading up to the top of the cliff.

4 out of 5 stars Sick Traverse

3 pitches. I led the last short pitch. I remember the belay after the first pitch had some fragile rock - excercise caution. The traverse was very heady... even to second.

5 out of 5 stars One of the best routes at Bon Echo

Led all pitches after having followed this route on my first visit to BE in 1999. You'll never forget the traverse to the end of all things on pitch 3.

A pin has come out on the traverse, the second should be solid on 5.7

0 out of 5 stars Ascent Note

What a climb to onsight! Had a hard time route finding on 1st pitch, after that the route finding was okay.....I was just terrified! 3rd pitch traverse is airy, but enough fixed gear that something owuld probably catch me.
