Description:
This wide sheet of ice is easily spotted from HWY 11. Another Orient Bay classic, Tempest offers a variety of lines to an intermediate belay off of a birch tree on the left hand side then up to the top. Bring two ropes for the rappel. 10.4 miles from "0" marker. Grade 2+Descent Options:
Rap from top using 2 ropes.

Did this route as a night climb. If my memory serves me right we simul-climbed this route. I seem to remember it being too long for one rope length so I just started climbing before Erik got to the top.
