Description:

Start just left of Prune. Climb up easy rock to bulge past bolt and pin. Climb rock to ledge. Second pitch starts 20ft left of Prune's second pitch at base of a wide right facing corner. Climb corner to stance. Climb up and right past pin and bolt. Climb left facing corner to ledge. Two pitches can be climbed as one. Good approach to Back to the Front. Note: The only 5.9 section (crux) is the end of the 2nd pitch, so I don't recommend to do it in one pitch (I've done it that way). As the last crux moves passed a bolt have thin and sparse protection, a fall with so much rope out can create too much slack. So it is safer to break the climb in two pitches, as the guidebook recommends.

Rappel from tree, continue up on another route or downclimb Old Man's route.
