5 out of 5 stars Full Value...

I thought this route was amazing. Less chalk than most classics at the forks... taller... stellar movement and a full challenge all the way up to the final jugs. The start wasn't so bad.. seems as though it has been cleaned up over the years. A real battle for me on this one. Dig deep for it.

5 out of 5 stars such a line!

Have TRed multiple times this highly aesthetic line. My sole lead attempt resulted in a fall on the 5.9 exit move less than 10 ft from the top because I was so pumped I couldn't hang on. Never mustered the courage to try again as the "cube" start is 25 feet of hell, whether you go right or left - just too dangerous no matter how strong you are. I suppose you could push back into the pool if you popped off (??) This is a top-5 route for the Forks and a must for any visiting thin crack afficianado.

5 out of 5 stars First Ascent

We TR'd due to sketchy bottom.
Heinz Zak happened to be there the day we were playing on it (actually went on sight no falls but on a TR, who cares...)

He did the first "true" ascent, as in lead, of the problem, including the desperet dangerous 5.10 cube start. He called the route "Ice Cream Dreams".

And the route is not Acid Test Crack but just
The Acid Test...

As for the date, it's a wild guess...
