Description:

climbs the crack/corner near the far left side of the crag. fairly short compared to the other climbs here.

Descent Options:

rap off the obvious horn. as of 2/2006, there were no slings up there, but you can just rap straight off the horn.

2 out of 5 stars Slam Dunk

I led all the Wonder Bluffs routes (7) in one day so they are fresh on my mind (best "set" of pure crack routes in all of Jtree). Slam Dunk is the best to warm up on as it is the easiest and sunniest. My preference is to do the entire wall left to right in order. It is also the least interesting of the group; the shortest and less sustained. The 5.7 is a much more challenging pitch. The other six routes are absolutely stellar. There is no fixed rap as referenced in Miramontes book. Traverse under the roof above and Walk west to the lone rap station above Negro Vortex.
