Description:
A not very attractive looking fist-sized crack that leads to a ledge and a shallow corner system with one bolt visible from the ground. Don't be swayed by appearances! This route is fantastic (but death defying if you're short) and a proud onsight to be sure. Climb the fist crack (a couple 3-4 inch pieces will keep you happy), which narrows to perfect hands and then fingers. Gear up at the ledge and tip-toe through a dicy, balancy sequence to gain a good, flat hold way up and left. If you fall going for that hold, you'd better hope to thread the needle between the wall and the tree behind you! After clipping the first bolt, it's much more sane. Bolts were not there for FA, but were added later by the FA party.Descent Options:
Lower or rappel from anchor.
