Description:

The beeeutiful handcrack/lieback just to the left of the ugly "elevator shaft" (prominent chimney on the general left side of the cookie cliff). 1) handcack/lieback. 2) up another 40 ft, then straight right (thin) to the top of the elevator shaft. 1st pitch is the best, but 2nd pitch is awesome too (5.11a).

4 out of 5 stars Wide hands

Much wider than it looks from the ground. Bring at least 2 #3's and save one to walk up as you approach the roof. OS'd the first pitch, and followed the 2nd pitch clean. The 2nd pitch is not slippery as the supertopo implies.

5 out of 5 stars Oh my god

what a great route. I was pumped out of my mind after about the first 20 feet and it just kept going. I didn't think I was going to be able to pull the 5.6 moves to the anchors my forearms were so burnt. I used 3 3's and 3 2's with about a 25 foot runout in the easier jams if that helps anyone.

5 out of 5 stars Felt really solid this time

Done this many times... this time felt the easiest - probably due to excessive training on the hand crack at Pac Edge. Did just the first pitch, capping off a fine day at the cookie.
