Ascent Notes for: LumberJack - 5.10a Average Rating : 4.60/5

This is one of my most memorable routes. It was the first 5.10 I ever climbed. After several attemps and several different trips I finally conquered. Its a lot of fun.

Super pumpy ten. Pull the crux and hold onto good holds for the redpoint.

Great route- lots of sidepulls and other holds that require you to use your feet to get the right body position. Without a not-so-visible crimp at the crux, the route would likely go 5.10d/5.11a.

probably the best route at chenal.

My favorite local route. Great pumpy overhanging climb with good holds and good moves. Had a big grey squirrel run out of a crack near the top, run over my hand, leap at me, miss, and plummet to its death today. It was me or him, and I held on for the redpoint. Poor little guy, what was he thinking??
