4 out of 5 stars Green Spur

Did first 2 pitches and then finished Rewritten. Spicy crux with small polished feet.

3 out of 5 stars Fun In A Scary Way

The first two pitches I combined which was fun but we were trailing another party and then a party came up behind us on Rewritten and it made for a long day on what is a fairly quick climb. The third pitch is quite hair raising as everything you're climbing is hollow and larger than most cars. Fun moves though. The rest is cruiser and fun.

4 out of 5 stars Tricky Crux

We combined the first two pitches almost entirely in the dark (my headlamp shorted out). This made for an interesting outing.

Good Eldo stuff. Some loose rock in unfortunate spots.

4 out of 5 stars Tod Anderson Lead

One fall, down low. Not used to that Eldorado rock. I need to get back there...

4 out of 5 stars Second 5.9 lead

Wow--the flared corner on this climb is so clean and compelling; a definite must do. Good pro all the way, never too hard.

4 out of 5 stars Ascent Note

saw pairs of swifts attached upside-down to each other falling from the sky, just off of the main wall, spiraling down and down, swirling and fucking

Hang Dog Hang Dog ascent by: claramie on 2007-06-02 (View Climbing Log)

4 out of 5 stars Tough for the grade

The flared chimney is awkward. I've done the entire route before and P2 (starting from the tree atop Grandmother's Challenge) is extremely loose. Be careful here and anything you knock off will likely end up in the middle of the crowd that is always at the base of these climbs.

Use 2-60m ropes and do the first 2 pitches together to the red ledge. It will be all of the rope, but you can rap right back down.
