4 out of 5 stars Very fun climbing

My brother and I did this in two pitches. There was nice exposure on the traverse.

4 out of 5 stars So fun.

I told myself that I could climb this route a million times and not even think of falling, with crumbly rock or not (Pinnacles is known for this, but it is such a well traveled route that I haven't seen any), so I soloed it. It was beautiful, plus you can just walk off.

4 out of 5 stars Ascent Report

Good climb all the way through, the difficulty stays about the same all the way through. The bolts are a tiny bit spaced but less so than usually in Pinnacles. I used a cam and a nut before the 1st bolt, then all on the bolts only.

I did it in 1 pitch, and at the end, the drag was crazy, needed my hand to pull hard for some slacks, and then do a move - probably because of my cam&nut early on... (and I even only put 1 rope in those protection specifically to avoid this!)

There is a belay anchor at the top, but for rappel, walk about 20m to the right to the prominent rock with the obvious rappel station.

4 out of 5 stars Climbed with Jacob on First pinnacles trip

Jacob lead the bottom section, I lead the top as he belayed me from the belay anchors.

4 out of 5 stars First lead at the pinnacles

We did it in two pitches... the first pitch was very short... found a quick-draw on the way up near the top... somebody must have bailed...

4 out of 5 stars Nice route

Good, easy lead. Can do it all as 1 long pitch, or break it into 2 or 3 shorter pitches. While a "sport" lead (and bolted), you should use longer slings than normal quickdraws - even so rope drag is substantial if you do it all in 1 pitch.

The crux moves are the first 10-15 feet (unprotected), and the first bolt is quite a ways up - it's actually the first of two 2-bolt belay stations. I ended up placing one cam before these bolts, but did the rest on the bolts. It was a bit runout between bolts IMHO - but easy climbing so not a big concern.

5 out of 5 stars Ascent note

Great begineer route, can be done in 1 pitch with some very long slings to reduce rope drag.
