But finished it. My first time leading Retribution...so much fun. It was a proud lead for me.

Hard crux, eh the rest of the way.

Took my partner almost 2 hours to lead this. Patience is a virtue. I learned a lesson; just get on anything that's reasonably protectable and take your time. Eventually you will get up the damn thing. The undercling was greasy and insecure.

This felt pretty good today...hard to start the season on Retribution.

It's a one move wonder, followed by 5.8 climbing. Great climb.

But, it's a hard move. THen there is a little crux a little further up the climb.

Rock was dry, climb was great.

Felt great today. Rock was dry.

It was 50 degrees, rock was grippy and the climb felt great. It's amazing what happens when you use technique. Felt floaty.
