Wow, when I did this route it was reeaallly cold. By the time I got up to the first overhang and placed gear for the crux, my fingers were already gone. I managed to (barely) pull through, but inlike other climbs ive done in the cold there wasnt a nice no hands rest to warm my hands up. I couldnt feel them for the rest of the route. Im usually really solid on 5.8, but it felt soo sketchy whithout the normal feeling in my fingers. 2/3 of the way up I promised that id go to church the next sunday. When I finally got to the top i just about colapsed on the ledge. To top it off, my parnters hands were to cold for him to follow, so i had to prussik up the damn thing - at least that warmed me up!
