super easy, 3 ft "crux", fun if you want to say you climbed a 10a at J-Tree!

Excellent climbing on some great feature

Easy climbing to a bolt, more easy climbing to a lieback reach to some huge jugs, then jugs to the top. Not too exciting but worth a run if you're in the area. Bring 2" and 3" pro for an anchor on top if setting up a TR.

I just kept waiting for a 5.10 move.... it never happened. Felt like a stiff 5.8 sport route. Gear is pretty useless on this route. The horizontals will keep you from doing a combat roll and protecting the top is unnecessary if you can make it through the midway point of the climb. The down climb is almost as hard.

But does it really count as a 5.10 lead?=) Fun climb none the less!

Not sure who called this thing a 10b... Falls into the easy 5.9 category in my book. Far easier than any 10a I've done in the park. Still, a fun route up a cool feature.
