Without any prior knowledge of this area, we decided just to throw the rope down on these bolts then scramble to the bottom to see what we threw it on. We were a little disappointed after getting out the book and orienting ourselves that we dropped it on a 5.6, but were pleasantly surprised to find out it was super fun! The friction part at the bottom is the crux and I can see how it would pose a great deal of difficulty for a new climber, however, after that it is quite easy but varied. There is a nice crack to practice some pull moves on up top. Also not a bad climb for practicing one's footwork. And the view from the top is really nice! 60m rope recommended.

I agree with others that this is not a friendly lead climb with sparse bolts (as of 6/13/09 I only saw 1) and very little to stick your own pro. The two bolts at the top for an anchor are bombproof though, and there is a fat tree for those who don't want to use the bolts but still want to TR.

great for new climbers, not too difficult but will try the nerves.

Yes, quite easy but still fun. Can be tackled as a slab type climb or a bit more like a face climb since most of the holds are decent enough for that style. Located just to the right of the descent gully, and can be anchored from above on the two rap bolt anchors with quicklinks. Being the paranoid sort, I backed these up with the nearby tree too.
