This is a fun line. Pretty soft climbing the entire way. The crux was short. The route had lots of gear and good holds everywhere. The second pitch was interesting climbing through the trail and vegetation. The walk off was easy and enjoyable.

This route ties with the Mummy for the best 5.5 in North Carolina. Great climbing, perfect rock, solid gear, nice exposure, incredible view.

This was a beautiful climb - really steep but awesome holds make for nice low stress exposure! There were times I wished I had doubles in some of the bigger C4's (1-3) for all the big horizontals. Started to rain on my second for the last pitch scramble to the top - had to hoof it across the ridge in the downpour to get to those first overhanging boulders on the descent trail. Was much faster to get to our packs by heading right at the fork instead of going back around the east face. This way did involve a few downclimbs that were sketchy in the rain but would be fine if dry.

a good hike to get to the route, but totally worth it. Fun route, great protection. Climbed to the fixed pins with 70 meter rope

there were 3 of us climbing together this weekend...this was my first route where i second and cleaned and trailed another rope down to the 3rd climber; i've never done a multi- pitch with another person besides me and my leader; this was a fun route; great view

Jim took p1 and p3, I got the p2 lead. For full adventure, we carried our packs up and walked off from the top.

Maybe one of the coolest lines int he world! Great mellow climbing w/a rewarding view from the first belay. The second pitch is okay, but maybe not worth the trouble.

Good way to return to NC climbing. Good pro, solid rock, awesome weather.

I didn't see the first "pins" mentioned, so i continued to the second belay, with three bomber pins. fun pitch, great exposure. the first half of the next pitch was fun, but the second half was more like walking up a trail
