Very nice overhanging hand crack which narrows down to half fingers until you move right to a nice lieback flake. You really dont realize how strenuous this climb is until you top out totally out of breath. TAPE UP

field and I showed up as jason was finishing this short but strenuous baby - I knew I needed to get on up it since it was overhanging, so I did - went 30 mph or so! SWEET layback moves on it, too . . . looking forward to the redpoint, which I planned late at night in my tent, later on - NOT placing pro from the layback as Chris did, but rather sewing it up while on the good jams then laybacking the short section where you have to and pro again once the crack is regained. Uh-hunh!

short, and very hard. I perhaps could call it an onsight, except that I saw a guy hangdogging his way up it a couple hours before. Oh well; still the best crack I've encountered in the wichitas.
