Ascent Notes for: The Gash - 5.7 Average Rating : 3.78/5

Just an FYI, this route is not the gash, the gash is the chimney and slot to the right of the bolted face which is Deadmans Rappel. Originally was 5.9, but upon retro bolting it, i cleaned some of the looser blocks and reduced the rating.

My favorite route at Dino to date, perfectly bolted, great views from the top, some of the juggier flakes are feeling loose though

This was a fun climb, that gets you up high for a nice view. Route can be made easier by going to the left, or more challenging be going more to the right.

Fun right from the start. Easy approach to the crag makes this a great area. Great warm-up for some of the harder climbs. There were a lot of pigeons on the day we climbed. Made some of holds *interesting*...

Lots of juggy holds. You may want to bring 1 or 2 24" slings to help with rope drag at a few bolts (not too bad though). This route can be toproped with a 70m rope. A 60m rope will be close, though.

Fun route - great "fall out of the car" and climb area.
