LOVED this route. Every move of it! Crack widens out at top but terrain gets really easy.

I used the sissor technique in the crack and it worked wonderfully. Enjoyed the climb, but it was 30-40 mph winds at the top, lol.

cool crack starts with fist jams then taper down thin at the top. similar to sweat but a bit easier.

Followed a trad leader for the first time. Was a nice easy fist /hand jamming excercise. Beautiful crack, cool looking and feeling (out of the sun.) Nice view from top of the domes.

*Set up a rope signal system if your leader plans to head all the way up to the tree to anchor off of. You won't be able to see them and will have a hard time hearing their yells, and vice versa.

Awesome. This was my first trad lead. I didn't have any gear big enough for the crack right before you come out of the cave. It scared the hell out of me.

Led twice once with packs to get to the top and again with just gear...as expected substantially more difficult with packs especially due to fit.

Awesome line, which was a lot of jamming. Be careful locating the rappel anchors. Climbed with my wife and she cruised it!

...and by that, I mean long, easy and shaded! LOL! Seriously, though, this is a great climb, especially if you can recognize (and use) the plentiful face holds. Not that you'll need them often, but a couple are quite helpful.

Oh, and the descent sucks. No rap bolts, as advertised, and the walk down completely blows when your feet are sore. As mine always are. :-)
