Route was soaking after the rain. This made the crack particularly difficult. It took me three tries to do it cleanly.

Although technically not part of the route, the chimney to the left can be fun, especially for younger climbers

finally!!!! the key to my sucess was taking a long enough break from my last route, so that my hands were rested and relatively fresh. that way I was able to make all the hand/finger jams stick, without losing my hand strength so quickly.

at one point I had to change from straightpulling the hand jams to a laft hand layback opposing a toe jam with the left foot, and stemming out with the right to smear a small wrinkle to get the height I needed to jam my right hand up above the section of the crack where it closes up for 18-20 inches...

This was maybe my 10th-12th try on the route.
