5 out of 5 stars Beautiful Climb

Beautiful airy moves. A real classic. The first pitch can be split in two short pitches if you choose to prevent rope drag to the large belay ledge. Moving into the flake is 5.9 and moving out of it feels a bit tougher. It's a real cozy belay at the top of the flake with a chock stone with slings and rap rings.

5 out of 5 stars First 5.9 trad onsight!

Lead the second pitch. Almost cried and / or peed myself when going for the flake, but managed to do it clean and gracefully!

The route sucks, instead I recommend sleeping in... Did I forget to mention I lie like a snake in the grass. I'd recomed double ropes, and save a couple #2 camalots for the anchor right of the beast flake (it's in the shade).

Everybody tall and small, young and old, sport or trad should do this route. Best two pitches I have ever seen in terms of climbing quality and exposure. The awful offwidth/chimney is easily avoided with a 5.9 traverse located behind the Beast Flake.
