5 out of 5 stars love this one

fun trad route takes gear very well. fells more like a 5.7. The Approach is very easy if you find the trail. The best way to find the trail is as you are walking in the river bottom there is a trail off to the east side ( left side if hiking in) of the hill fallow this around the bolder caves you should only go under to or three big boulders to get there. IF THE TRAIL FELLS TO HARD OR SCARY, YOU ARE OFF THE TRAIL.

5 out of 5 stars Very fun

I have been up this many times and is soo fun. Too bad it is not 20 pithces long. I brought my wife up this for her first multi pitch outing and she got worked. Pretty funny. To comments below on the approach, it is not bad at all. Actually, pretty damn easy as far as AZ approaches go.

5 out of 5 stars One of the best climbs.

It was a awesome climb on great rock, but the approach was nasty and long. Also, make sure you bring gloves, it can get cold in the winter on the north face.

4 out of 5 stars SSSOOOOO COOOLLLLDDD

Cool climb, but approach is kind of nasty bush wacking. According to Falcon's guide, it is best 5.5 in the state. I am not sure I agree with that. It is certainly good route, but I have been on some better routes for rating. Climbing here makes you want to preserve great outdoors. I have seen this place about 5 years ago, and seeing it after 5 years later makes me really sad. Each year houses are getting closer and closer to the base of the mountains. I am not really sure how much longer we will have before home owners around the base of the mountains will decide to close this place down. Even if we will always have access to this areas, we will certainly loose the beautiful sceneries.

This was a fun route to lead, it was consistant in its grade and asthetically pleasing. The climb is rated at 5.5 my girlfriend said she thought it felt like 5.8 but I was having too much fun to notice.
