Its a nice climb, it's interesting. Its fun. Is it three stars? Not in my book. We did it in one pitch, lots of rope drag.

Typically stiff Gunks grade :)

This was my first route at the gnks ever. I was def nervous for my first muti pitch trad climb (followed). The sierons did not help any but i woked through them. I just want to say thank you to my friend Bobbie for the awesome time.

Led in one pitch with kuba, bad rope drag, when will I learn?

descended in one rap with 2 60's.

Fun climb loved the belay after first pitch.

I've never used so many nuts in opposition. 3 sets on the 1st pitch. They were bomber.

with doubles, no problems. This is definitely a classic.

Rope drag, cramped belay etc. A couple long slings just below and just above the crux would make skipping the belay a cinch. Very enjoyable climbing though. Pulled the roof on P2, not too bad.

First pitch gets the short crux out of the way (and humerous body-roll mantle onto the belay) and the second is easy and fun all the way to the top (beware of rope drag). Totally safe and fun classic Gunks route!
