I remember doing this one and finding it rather easy for the grade, but very iffy for protection.

managed to solo the top section because i biffed the gear placement below and didnt have much of a rack on me. oh well.

I must've missed the crux or something. Not hard.

This was a great route. I'm especially particular to it due to the fact that it was my first 5.9 onsight. A rather exciting occurrence for me, as I've not been climbing very long. Not well protected at the bottom, but gear gets a lot better towards the top. When using the anchors over Coronary, a directional can be set so you can run laps on both routes. It's a popular route on a popular stretch of the cliff so if you want it on a busy day, you either have to get there early or wait in line. We ran other routes nearby while waiting though and got a lot out of the day.

Good protection once you've gotten past the flake. Yes, it's creaky! And yes, I was one of the "nervous leaders" mentioned in the guidebook! :)

Thought it was easy to protect, although moving about the 'creeky flake' was a little sketch. My only climb that day before the storm came in.

Second time TRing it. Still found it a lot of fun.

Followed EMS guide ... fun climb .... coronary on the right was even more fun

pretty bizarre when you can move rock around like that. pretty cool route, lots of fun, tough to adequately protect down low
