4 out of 5 stars My First Trad 22!!

Awesome awesome climb! wasn't feeling confident, but I just hung on and sent! gear in hand. Bomber gear too. Used 4 cams after the bolt - a yellow then green alien, then .5 BD and then bomber 1 BD to top out. Not the best gear for the start tho...

4 out of 5 stars My first 22!

I was working really hard to get up this one. Plenty of hangdogging once I got onto the crack. I was really pumped.

I somehow managed to dislodge a chunk of rock off the top face though. I was laying back off the crack, and knocked off a block about 25cm long, 2cm thick and 6cm wide. Pretty scary stuff. Never had that happen at Morrie before.

Damn that getting past that overhang is hard ... after a few first attempts I just went ballistic and ran up the farkn thing - with positive results :D

(dunno if that counts as a hang dog since there were breaks between attempts then last attempt was clean)
