I put my hand on the rim of the bee's cave (right of bolt 2). They will come say Hi, but they won't sting.

Dave Phillips was cleaning this route and chose to cut the branch he was standing on. It swiped the cave on the way down and pissed off the bees. He hid his face, but they stung him twice. Paul Johnson has a photo of a bee lodged in Dave's neck. Once bolted, Dave was in no mood to go back up for the FA. This guy Jim McCray from Dallas came by and piped up, "I'll Do IT!"

The bees look cool coming out their little cave. Kind of reminds me of ships coming out of the Death Star.

Anyways, they don't bother you. One or two might be curious, but that's all.

NO FEAR. They smell it.

Expect pain in the form of bees and razor-sharp rock. Still a fun climb though.
