great easy route, low exposure plenty of gear,

I really enjoyed this route. It goes by quickly and the problems are tricky enough to make you think for a second.

Great experience. Lots of snow in the approach gully. Love the chimney in the second pitch. Unroped at the top of the third and scrambled to the summit. 5.7 bouldering problem doesn't feel exposed at all.

Fun climb with plenty of pro and quick rappels back to base. a little chausy near the base but that is the case most often.

Wish the climb had a few more pitches. Fun boulder move at the 5.7 crux near the summit.

Notes

Did this the day before Liberty Crack, just to have the descent dialed. Got our rope stuck rappelling and had to climb so other pretty fun climb to get it unstuck.

this is a great route and is great to learn the descent. We simul climbed it and it took less than an hour.

first multipitch climb

I took the 5.7 hand crack variation mentioned in the Falcon Guide to Wa. After the initial chimney go right 20ft or so to a splitter crack. Follow it 30ft up to a small alcove and belay here. Above the alcove the crack doglegs up and left for 20ft to the lip of the face and emeges just below the roof traverse on the normal route.
