Did it the hard way at the start, and then higher, and then again even higher. Oh well. Quite fun.

A lot of rests. Clipping was reachy a few times, but easy to spy out beta from good stances. Fun lead. Bolts in an awkward stance.

Well protected with straight-forward climbing. Not tricky, but still fun. Usually do this one when I go to Crowders.

First time to crowders, awesome.

5.9 sport is unheard of in NC. Good route for a new leader like me.

If you're surprised to hear of a moderate sport climb in North Carolina, then you should go climb this thing. Fun, sustained climbing in a beautiful setting. I'm glad they bolted it. Although short people may find some the bolts painfully high...

5.9+. Scary sport climb after a long day of hard climbing. Try it when you're still fresh. The difficulty is sustained throughout the route, so hang-dog at the bolts until you're ready to commit to clipping the next bolt. The bolts are well spaced, no run-outs.
