3 out of 5 stars fun route

lots of exposed traversing. Take small to medium cams to supplement bolts and pins. Takes 2 70 meter ropes to reach ground.

4 out of 5 stars More Fun Than Jim Dandy

We were looking for a couple of quick routes before a Mtn bike ride and chose this one along with My Route so that we could just walk off the top when finished. I lead both pitches. The holds leading to the first bolt are starting to polish from traffic and were a little slick. The only difficult spot is where the route trends to the right from the ledge on Jim Dandy but there are fixed pins and bolts. The belay was being used so I made a gear belay. The second pitch is very easy and leads up to Lunch Ledge. There is no need for any additional pro but ample opportunies exist for those who like more. I have climbed this route multiple times and it is always fun.

4 out of 5 stars Fun little warmup

We decided to climb this as a warmup before my first lead. Great climb to get my head right.

3 out of 5 stars Excellent

Excellent alternative to Jim Dandy. Doesn't see as much traffic but well worth doing. Placed 1 extra #4 nut i believe other than clipping the bolts.

3 out of 5 stars First bolt is tough

The crux is at the first bolt of the first pitch. That part of the climb is a slabby and a little thin, and you really have to committ yourself to the move. Second pitch is pretty short.

3 out of 5 stars Tough for the grade

Started much further to the right of Jim Dandy where the crack starts. This was probably a much harder start and traverse left before the bulge section. The traverse was not the most fun since there was no gear until the bolt. The second pitch was great. It was really easy after second bolt.

4 out of 5 stars skip to my lou

traverse at first piton on pitch one sketchy if you climb too high - plus a fall from it will put the climber onto rock with 5.10+ moves. note the fixed nut on second pitch.
